The anticipation of the expected announcement that Valentino Rossi will race for Ducati next year in MotoGP is reaching levels last seen ahead of Apple’s announcement of the iPhone! However it seems we must wait just a little longer for the official word to come at Brno. This is despite the recent furor when the Ducati CEO reportedly told a journalist the deal was done before the company subsequently denied they had said any such thing. In the meantime we can at least imagine what it will be like next year with Rossi in the Ducati camp by checking out the excellent work of a fellow Ducati enthusiast.
Feast your eyes on the pre-imagining of Rossi on a factory Ducati Desmosedici racer. Looks good doesn’t it, even if it is unlikely Fiat will be sponsoring the team (the smart money suggests Fiat will sponsor Rossi directly instead). The digitally manipulated image is the work of Alexander Bianchini-Kometer, a South Australian Digital Artist and it is ever so good. Cheers and Good on ya Alex!
While we wait for August 15th at Brno you can support the Rossi to Ducati cause with Ducati News Today and be in to win a copy of Ring of Fire: The Inside Story of Valentino Rossi and MotoGP by Rick Broadbent.
